This is our famous Corolla, Matrix/Vibe 2ZZ race header. Designed with 1 5/8" OD stepped to 1 3/4" OD primary tubes and a true race merge collector. We also offer them in an all 1 3/4" design for supercharged cars.

Air Injection Tube

For some 2004 and newer 2ZZ-GE Corolla, Matrix/Vibe cars, there is an air injection tube on the exhaust manifold for emissions purposes. Our standard race header above has a block off plate or tabs that cover the holes in the cylinder head. If you are running a stock computer you will get a CEL if you block these ports off.

This air injection tube option adds an air tube to the header and allow the system to function properly. Also, includes high-temp siiclone air hose and clamps.

Not CARB approved and not legal for use in California.

Corolla, Matrix/Vibe 2ZZ Midpipe

The PPE Corolla, Matrix Vibe XRS midpipe is 2.5" OD 16 gauge mild steel tubing. It bolts to the PPE header and to your stock or aftermarket exhaust. Retains the stock gasket between the midpipe and the axle back exhaust. Can be made with a high-flow metal cat and/or a 4"OD Magnaflow resonator. Additional O2 bungs can also be added for wideband O2 sensors.

ECT Catalytic converters are EPA and OBD2 compliant.

Corolla, Matrix/Vibe 3" Cold Air Intake

The PPE 3" intake is for racing use only. Because of its larger diameter, it requires an aftermarket ECU or a piggyback ECU in order to adjust the air/fuel ratio. It shows power increases of 3WHP. Can be purcahses as piping only, or with hoses and/or a K&N air filter.
